Andrew Levy is Edna Cooper Chair in English and Director of the Writer’s Studio at Butler University. He is author of Brain Wider Than the Sky, and his most recent book, The First Emancipator, won the Slatten Prize for biography. He lives in Indianapolis, Indiana.
