A. I'm not really one for motivational sound-bites, but I try my best to be a person who adds to the world more than he subtracts from it.

A clear view of the ocean and the mountains from my window; a stack of annotated manuscript pages on the desk; a well-written paragraph on the computer screen; the sound of my family's laughter coming up the stairs as they gather for dinner; a newly strung guitar; a cold glass of rootbeer; a fine cup of coffee; a warm bed; safety.Q. What is your biggest pet peeve?A. Absent commas and/or apostrophes. Rudeness. And, for some reason I can't quite decipher: humans dressed as cats.Q. What’s your greatest fear?A. Doing the wrong thing at the right time.Q. What are your most overused words or phrases?A.
