I suspect that in many ways, being a YA author is completely different from being an author in another subgenre of the novel. Yesterday I received permission from Simon & Schuster to share the beautiful cover for LOVE STORY, which will be published by MTV Books on July 19. I posted it with a description of the book on my web site at http://jennifer-echols.com/lovestory.html and linked to it from Twitter and Facebook. And all my friends on these social networking sites were so sweet and made me feel like the publishing industry asked me to the PROM and I said YES and he is SO CUTE and WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR?????
