John Rector Revealed

Q. What is your motto or maxim? A. I don’t have one in my daily life, but when it comes to writing, there is a quote from Isak Dinesen I keep above my desk.  She said, “Write a little everyday, without hope and without despair.” Q. What are your 5 favorite songs? A. This changes constantly, but I'll listen to the same two or three CD's over and over while I'm writing. Right now I'm listening to The Elephant Riders by CLUTCH, All You Can Eat by Left Lane Cruiser, and Glass: Solo Piano by Phillip Glass Q. If you could eat only one thing for the rest of your days, what would it be? A. Chicken Vindaloo, the hotter the better. Q. What’s your best quality? A. Persistence Q. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you choose to be? A. Sedona Arizona, but after three months of snow, I'll take anywhere warm. Learn more about John Rector
